Looking for driving lessons around Dublin 2/8. Would similarly like a relaxed patient instructor (wouldn't everyone?). I haven't had official driving lessons before so need the full 12. Also I'm a student. And also I'll need a car for the exam itself.

Hi guys, eventually getting my act together and doing my lessons.

Don't need to do the full EDT as I've had my provisional for years but wondering if it would be worthwhile doing anyway or just going for 10/12 lessons? Anyone been in a similar situation - any advice appreciated!

Obviously also looking for an instructor in the D6/D8 area if anyone has any recommendations. Starting from scratch.

Any recommendations for an instructor in the Limerick City area who has a decent rate for EDT lessons, knows the Castlemungret routes, and would be willing to let me use my own car and do multi-hour blocks (e.g. 4x3hr) over a shorter time frame? Just looking to get the EDT over and done with, see the likely test routes, and get pointers about whatever questionable driving habits I've picked up over the past couple decades that won't fly on the test.

The only thing I am seeking is someone with a patient, professional approach.

Lad I have now, can't make progress with him. He only criticizes, never praises, can't learn like that myself, even if other's can.
