Can anyone confirm the minimum thickness of an internal ESB metering cabinet. ESB agreed to locate the meter cabinet internally.

I know an external cabinet must be 3mm thick, but is it the same for an internal one?

    Would 1.5mm suffice?

    Cheers.

Id say its fine once its made of non-combustible material, and decent size enclosure.

You're talking about a metal clad meter enclosure? Like in a hallway or summat?

If they're locating it internally, you may need to provide a key to Networks to facilitate access. Many local areas are making this a prerequisite of connection now.
