Anyone think liverpool will field a 2nd rate team for fulham game? Think of using this as game as the weekly booster.

Either way ,1rst or 2nd , Rafa will put a team out to win against fulham .

Don't really like the look of the premiership fixtures this week. Im finding it hard to pick winners, I think Arsenal will beat Man City at home. A lot of the midtable/relegation fixtures are very tough to call. As a Liverpool fan I'm not overly confident of us getting a win with a lot of players coming back from international duty and the Champions League coming up. Newcastle vs Chelsea is a tough one as well, with Shearer coming in Newcastle could snatch a draw.

Gone for a longshot treble of:

    Blackburn vs Spurs: Draw
Arsenal vs Man City: Arsenal win
    Bolton vs Middlesborough: Draw

I fancy Bolton to beat Middlesborough, they're usually very strong at home.

True you're probably right but Middlesborough badly need points, and this is the stage of the season where struggling teams finally start picking them up. Bolton will probably win but I think a draw is possible. Plus the odds on a draw are pretty big so its boosting my price big time, 15/1 on a treble ain't bad. Just have to sit back and wait for inevitable 4-0 Bolton win now!

Obviously the draw is a chance! Middlesboro are garbage though. I fancy them to go down.

Here's my bets for the weekend, haven't checked odds yet.

    West Ham
    Arsenal -1
    Bolton

A Draw Yankee on the following games:
    Everton V Wigan
    Blackburn V Spurs
    Hull V Portsmouth
    WBA V Stoke

Bound to get at least 2 up which will cover your outlay.

Went for another small stake, nice looking longshot bet...

    Arsenal (-1)
    Man United (-1)
Everton vs Wigan: Less than 2.5 goals
Blackburn vs Tottenham: More than 2.5 goals

    A little over 15/1

Think an Arsenal/Bolton double is 3's, they're the only ones I'd be at all confident of ! hmmm

    Arsenal
    Bolton
    Chelsea
    Tottenham

    About a 13/1 Treble....

    Very good value??

Might be worth doing Newcastle/Fulham/Villa if you like big story upsets.

if any one wanted to lump today its very tricky to see a solid bet.
this years prem has got to be the closest ever and the most low scoring too.. gerrard 2nd at 13 goals at the end of the season . poor tally for all strickers. torres being out for almost half a season too

    2 Celtic v Hamilton (Backing Celtic @ 1.16)
    3 Cowdenbeath v Elgin (Backing Cowdenbeath @ 1.22)
    4 Southampton v Charlton (Backing Southampton @ 2)

    Arsenal/Celtic/Hearts treble came in :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,952 ✭✭✭Morzadec

Nice. I've lost one of my longshot accumaltors already but no worries.

    Have a treble of:

    Arsenal HalfTime Arsenal Fulltime
    Bolton Win
Liverpool to keep a clean sheet.

    At about 8/1

    Cmon the reds!

Most of these came up lads, congrats!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,952 ✭✭✭Morzadec

Yeah it was a nice weekend, also won on a small double of Everton/Everton (halftime/fulltime) and Draw/Man United (halftime/fulltime).

However as a Liverpool fan I would've prefered if I'd lost this bet and Macheda hadn't scored!

been looking at this weekends prem fixtures, there are some very generous odds on paddypower. stoke are 11/8 at home to newcastle, pompey 8/11 at home to west brom and arsenal are 4/6 away to wigan.

Going for a long shot 7 match accumulator of:

    liverpool v blackburn liverpool win
    chelsea v bolton chelsea win
pompey v west brom pompey win
    sunderland v man u man u win
    wigan v arsenal arsenal win
    stoke v newcastle stoke win
man city v fulham man city win

obviously unlikely that all will come up but at 30/1 it seems well worth a punt.
