Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah - it is. Do i see anything in the play of the side that suggests they can turn it round as quickly as they need to? nope.
    Individual brilliance tbh.

FFS just coz he sits on the ground for a minute doesn't mean you don't mark him, great finish not taking that away but poor poor defending

****ing hell yeh. Ronaldo you ****ing legend. That's why he's the best.

Macheda has made the difference in this game. Making a name for himself right off the bat.

Game can still go either way imo.

Great first time strike off the left foot.

Friedel saw it late, but nice goal.

Villa look completely out of steam.

    Macheda looking very good tbh.

prefer him to Welbeck myself. Stronger more natural striker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,009 ✭✭✭colly10

Bottlers, thats all Villa are, like many in the premier league, they loose points to United because their just bottlers. They're playing well then just stop playing, loose their composure and knock balls away to nobody

    Both defences are shocking

They haven't bottled it they have ran out of steam, made one small mistake and the best player in the world has scored a great goal, bottler's my boll0x they have came to Old Trafford and went for it, no matter what the score is I'm proud of them how many teams go there and park 10 men behind the ball?

Villa showing Utd way way to much respect here.

Ah christ, great chance if he'd kept that down.

Villa are asking for trouble at the mo, making some very strange decisions. At this point all they need to do is not make sloppy passes. Don't need to run themselves into the ground - just make sure they find a man. Even if its a defensive pass - find a man.

They are not a team capable of sitting on a lead, they do not have the quality in defece, if they continue to try to play football they are less likely to concede against united. Don't fool yourself here, this is not a good united side out there and they're letting uniteds reputation beat them

Maybe I'm blinded by my support for Villa, but I don't think we sat back on the lead I think we kept playing.

Friedel with a great save, can't see us holding on though
