Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, im going to Thailand at the end of May. I booked flights with USIT and they said that they can arrange a 4 star hotel for the 4 nights that we will be in Bangkok. The price for the 4 nights is around 130 euro (1 person single room). Is this a good price? Can anyone give me some advice?

    Thanks

Find out what the name of the hotel is and see if you can book it online at a lower rate.

If it's €130 for the four nights then it seems like decent enough value (around 1,500 Baht a night).

Feel free to post the name of the hotel here and I'll tell you if I've heard anything good/bad about it.

As SMB says it all depends on the hotel and where in Bangkok it's located.

It is possible to get 4* hotels for less than what you are paying and of course if USIT are booking it for you then they will have factored in a slice of the pie for themselves.

Look it up on www.asiarooms.com or the hotels own website and see can you get it cheaper. Often the best way is to see the hotels online price and then ring them and ask for a discount, you'll normally get one, haggling is part of daily life in Asia.
