Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all,
Well my camera bag is unusable as it has burst in 2 parts, but I've had it for 2 years or so.

Just wondering if you knew of any good camera bags or sites that would have good quality bags. I want it to hold my 400D with Battery grip and 2 lenses.

    Thanks in advance!

Buy a Billingham Packington - a superb bag.

Lowepro slingshots would be capable. Maybe 100AW or 200AW.

You could bring your gear into a shop and test the fit before you buy. Some good makes already mentioned. Gunns in Dublin have a good selection of different sizes if you are ever up there.

Howmuch kit do you intend carrying around with you? I just got the Lowepro minitrekker A.W.. Its a good bag with plenty of space inside for my kit, 40d + 400d, 17-85, 55-250 and it also holds my Sigma 70-200f2.8, flash, card case, 4 filters, spare batteries and cables and few other bits. I dont usually carry all that but if I am going away for weekend I can bring it all. It also has integrated Tripod holder and an all weather cover in case it rains or is damp or dusty you. Neat and Tidy. The bag when I last checked cost €149 in Dublin and about £90 stg in Newry

I was in Gunns on Camden Street about an hour ago and got the exact bag I was looking for. I brought in my camera and tried a few. Ended up with a Lowepro Topload Zoom 1, it was exactly what I wanted. Only €21 too.
You should do the same, bring your stuff in and try some out.
