used to buy this regularly, but only buy it now if there's a feature on the cover that I really want to read.

Good choice for those just getting into classic bands, but there's better info out there once you've picked out a few favourites.

Classic Rock, Official Chelsea FC Magazine and FourFourTwo are the only magazines I bother with anymore!!!

I used to buy Kerrang! and Metal Hammer a lot too, but I found their writing and features far too juvenile and focused towards far younger consumers than for my liking. I don't really like modern rock/metal bands, so Classic Rock was the mag for me!!! It is a class magazine, with lots of great features and interesting articles, plus some nice little sardonic barbs at some ''hate-figures'' in rock. I love it.

in the same boat as you ,last months article on ac/dc was brillant ,good regulars like "the dirt","have you ever meet heindrix" and they always have a good word to say about our very own thin lizzy and rory gallagher(rip)

Some great reading about AC/DC in the June 09 issue.

The second issue of Classic Rock presents Prog" is packed with stuff about Dream Theater, Muse, The Mars Volta, Van der Graaf Generator, and Rush's album artwork.

Theres a Summer Festival special just published too.
