Hey i recently picked up the new samsung M880 pixon touchphone and its rather nice it was unlocked as standard but i want to use My irish 3 contract simcard on It. The 3 sim works fine and i can make calls and sms but i am struggling to manually setup my internet/mms and services settings. I found from reading other boards i must create 3 profiles one for 3Services, 3MMS and 3browsing. Any help for settings would be appreciated even if its just 3 settings on another phone i can prob work it out. 3 customer services are no use they just say u have to use a 3 handset and wont offer help.

The settings on the Samsung M880 network connection create menu are:

    Set Name :
    Access Name
    Auth Type: (Normal/secure/none)
User ID: ( I think can be ur own choice)
Password: ( i Think can be ur own choice)
    Protocol: (Http/WAP/ Other)
Home URL: (The one i need to work out)
Proxy address: (has to be entered in 0.0.0.0 form or blank)
    Linger Time : (in secs)

Any one with knowlege of 3 wap settings help?

    You DNS settings should be:
Go to advanced on both 3 and 3MMS settings, on both you should have:

    Static IP: leave unticked
    Local Phone IP: 0.0.0.0
    Static DNS: leave unticked
    Server 1: 0.0.0.0
    Server 2: 0.0.0.0.
    Traffic Class: Subscribed
