I was certain there'd be a thread here already :(

It's a lottery of a race but I'm having a small punt on the below.

    Black Apalachi (Denis O'Regan) - 14/1, 11/4 place
    Silver Birch (R M Power) won it, I think, 2 years ago - 50/1, 9/1 place.
    Hear The Echo (D N Russell) - 18/1, 3/1 place

I got the rag in last year's one. Ended up sticking a fiver on him at 500/1 in bookies cos I thought I'd be sick if I only got €200 to my tenner for the sweep if he won. Obvioulsy it didn't. Think it was actually Cerium and he came fifth this year

    What do you mean?

EDIT: Ah, I see what you mean. I took him at 66, but he came in at 100, so Powers gave me the better price. As far as I'm aware they do that for all horses and dogs now.

How does a tenner at 66/1 return 1270EUR? Clearly I've missed something here and if it's not a dodgy photo then I'm just trying to understand :)

    Should it not be (10EUR x 100) + 10EUR then?

No, it was €10 ew on both. If you have a look at the picture again, it says each way.

Cheers! Was working 8-20 today and put the bet on at 3...heard the result on the radio and I genuinely thought I misheard it 2-3 times, completely shocked!

Spare a thought for Hear The Echo and connections after the horse collapsed on the run in, he died shortly afterwards.
