Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We could be looking at a final day Northeast Showdown with Toon, Boro and Sunderland all in deep danger. This would have to be THE most dramatic last day in Premier League should this be the case. Sucks to be living up there at the moment =/

    9th May

    Newcastle vs Boro

Put your money on that being televised.

Think Boro are definitely gone after today. Newcastle are going to struggle alright, and will be much tighter. Think Sunderland are just about safe enough, even though there is still a small bit of work left to do.

Theres only 2 points between Middlesbrough and Newcastle and a hell of alot more stability at Middlesbrough. Don't understand how one of them is widely considered to be gone while the other isn't. IMO they'll both go though. Thought Newcastle had some hope before today, even if they lost. But not after that performance.

'Boro started the billionaire 2million a week wages saga back there paying ravenelli around 40k's a week

at a time when bergkamp was on a mere 20k.

    serves em right.

[no mention of moyes from now on :D]

Lol @ Pat Dolan suggesting Shearer have Northern Rock removed from the jersey to prove a point. Does this man think before he speaks?

I read somewhere else that Sky ranked Newcastle as their 5th most important club in terms of box office and ratings when negotiating the new TV deal.

Just like all the tabloids they'll sure miss us.
