I was hoping to get some feedback on the design of this site. At the minute it's just a 10-minute job knocked up in 'Web Page Maker', will redo it in Dreamweaver when the design is finalised.

Any pointers / suggestions would be great, cheers.

It's alright, I guess. Just your name and the navigation items are far too big.

It's a nice looking site... I love the simple design...Colours are nice also.

As im...LOST has stated, the nav bar links are too big.

The heading is ok I think..

Any better? I went for the simple design because the site is for an art showcase type thing, figured I'd be better off not distracting from the content.

You know what might be nice and unusual?
If you put the nav links over and aligned to the right of the name. You can bring the title/name down to meet the main DIV.

    Nice and simple colour scheme.

That gives me an idea, I could extend the line on the 'p' until it touches the lighter grey border, and change that so they're the same colour. Then smooth off the corners or something. I'll make the changes later today and post back, cheers!

The the OP. It's simple & basic, but it does the job and looks fine. You've avoided many of the pitfalls people make when creating a quick website by keeping it so simple.
