Hi all, I recently looked into setting up a counter strike server at home. Had problems initially but found they were related to the firewall security on my eircom BB router - by reducing the security setting from 'medium' to 'low' my CS server worked. Now, all nodes on my network are firewalled anyway (with a commrcial software firewall, not just windows firewall) so i assume the firewall at the router level is made redundant by this and isnt necessary therefore its OK i reduced the security on it, just wanted to run it by others and make sure i am not missing anything?

What are peoples thoughts on this?
