Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    As we all suspected, and basically knew after the letters went round the public sector last week, all recruitment and promotion etc. for the Defence Forces (and Garda Síochána) is frozen.

    and also currently applies to these three areas in the RDF
    1. Fixed Period Promotion - officers
    2. Pot Offrs Cse
    3. Recruitment
    effective from 27 March 2009, it's still unclear if they'd be any leeway regarding those areas. My guess there wont be.

    So I take it those on the 2nd year of the PO course wont be commissioned now? (there is no year one this year anyway).
