    Hey Gal. It's an old theory, must have been a slow news week.
    Animal Armegeddon episode 1. "Death Rays". concerns this. It's availible on youtube.

    The problem with that theory is that there is no physical evidence available to coroberate it. But then there is a lack of physical evidence of any other cause for the Devonian / Carboniferous (DC) extinction either.

    BTW don't be put off by the shows use of "Straight Naultioid" rather than Orthocone.

    I saw that show actually. Seemed a bit sensationalist and lacking in concrete evidence in many cases.
