Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Webcam timelapse software

    Anyone recommend some software that will allow me to take timelapse & motion detection images through a webcam ?

    Looking for something free. Tried out handyavi & it seems pretty good although you have to pay after 10 days.

    (very interesting looking at 24 hours in 3 minutes)

    Yes it exists,
    yes you can get this in opensource so totally free
    no I didn't bookmark the page so I can't help you , but should be a suggestion along in a little while.

    I've used Perios. Both with inbuilt webcams (Asus Eee 900) and DV camcorders like the Panasonic NV-GS230 through USB. Works fine. Simple interface if not the most intuitive.

    Perios is a free standing executable and.. free (you can make a donation..)
