Hi Guys, I'm just looking for some advice about my hot water tank. I have one which is very rarely in use. I only ever turn on my hot water to wash up some dishes etc. Is it worth my while having it taken out and what could I get instead. I could do with having the space and also do with getting rid of the cost of heating…

You could try an under sink electric heater -- see link:

Taking out the existing cylinder would involve a fair bit of plumbing and would devalue your property. Why not simply turn off the immerser?
