    Hi guys,
My house has been with irish broadband forever but i was wondering if there was better and cheaper. we are currently paying 35 a month but that seems crazy to me.

We have no phone at the house so this might add to the costs.
I was wondering if anyone has a good cheap reliable suggestion for broadband uncapped downloads.
    thanks

you might get a better response by using a more descriptive subject heading.

not being funny, but this is the broadband forum, simply titling your thread 'broadband' is somewhat redundant. ;)

Why is 35 a month crazy? Line rental alone, for those who use DSL, is 25. What speed do you get for the 35 you pay, and what would you like? Do you know what other options are available, because there's little point in me saying you should ditch IBB for Casey Cablevision, if you're not in Dungarvan.

To be honest cheaper rarely means better...in fact cheap normally means more tears.

i got 3mb bundled with eircom talk bundle for €50 a month with 30GB cap so €35 seems a bit expensive to me for what is really an unreliable service dependant so much on external influences like weather, trees, double glazing etc
