Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I have a new house which has been wired for TV's in most rooms. I was informed that if i had a PVR with an RF Out connection i could play a DVD in the sitting room and tune the TV in each of the rooms to recieve the DVD? Can you confirm that this is correct? If so, can you recommend some PVRs with RF Out and Hard Disks.

    Cheers
    Kenny

Is it a satellite PVR you're on about?

Or one with terrestrial tuner? A lot of the standard PVRs I've seen recently don't have modulators, maybe for this very reason. Some DVD player/VHS recorder combis had modulators though, which did allow that.

The model that i have at the moment is Philips DVDR 3300H which i hook up my satellite reciever to record like a SKY+ box. It is not VHS. It doesn't have an RF Out connection, so i was wondering if any of you had a similiar machine that had RF Out that you could recommend. Are you using the RF Out to tune other TVs to around the house? Thanks

You could connect an RF modulator. Obviously any RF output is going to provide only mono audio and mediocre picture quality.

thanks for the suggestion. Didn't know about RF modulators. Sounds like just what i'm looking for.
