Big, the manner and style is the same, that's the point I and others are making.

Yes, he seems to be making more connection and extending his shots more, but it's the 'same' workout done a little differently!

What I laughed at is the fac that Hatton was slagging
the PBF pad sessions previously and now the clown is copying!

While stylistically yes it is the same the difference is you can actually see what punch Hatton is throwing. Mayweather goes to through and punch and Roger hits him with the pad before you can even tell did he throw a jab or an uppercut.

Despite what some might say Roger's padwork is **** and Hatton was right to mock it. The style of it may be similar but it's just too different for me to call the same. What Floyd Snr does is great but would anyone actually advise this padwork ?

Anyone want to tell me that's the same(whatever about style) ?

Again, Roger simply is so exaggerated.
I know and understand your point

Anyway, right or wrong to mock it is a matter
of opinion; what isn't a matter of opinion is that
Hatton was left with 'egg on his face,' and now his own
pad sessions are resembling the same style he openly mocked

Roger mayweather is muck on the pads, its all show and he does the work, not the boxer, its pathetic at best.
its like the boxer is the pad man..
i think its embarrising that he shows it on tele and thinks he's the business..

apart from that he seems to be the business..

I think the point to Roger's pads is hand to eye coordination and defense.
He really focuses on being alert and blocking and dipping etc.
Hey, while it looks a bit silly, it does have its benefits. It does keep a fighter
    highly tuned in and alert.

I am not saying it's great or the best way, but it's useful and different.
I do think he also does 'normal' pad workouts and the ones we see
are more for show and flash

As far as punching goes the benefits are non existant, he'd be better off putting on gloves and getting the fella moving with him and defending and dodging weaving etc..
