    IND 1 SEAT

    FINE GAEL LED COUNCIL FOR THE SECOND TERM RUNNING.... THIS TIME NOT NEEDING INDEPENDENT HELP...

    His running mate Alan Hand also won a seat. Now Sinn Fein hold two seats on town council. That's what the original poster is on about.

    The two lads are hard workers and have support all over the town, so I would say its a good day for the town.

    We need more working class people elected to office, regardless of their political affiliations.

    If you track the performance of all the councillors over the next 5 years
    the two SF boys will out perform the rest by a mile.
