Jazz needed for short film

    hey people,
    im making a short film at the moment and i want to put it some Jazz.
    Im looking for local musicians or a band who might let me use there music. I dont have money for copyrighted music, so im hoping to find an outfit that would allow me to use a couple of tracks.
    Better still, if there were artists that would be up for composing some stuff.
    The film is an ode to 60's pop gangster films so im looking for something cool...

    So if anyone can point me in the right direction or give a little advice, id be greatful.
