Pacman looks very good, and Hatton looks his usual extremely cut self.

They made a lot of Hatton's focus on SSN compared to the PBF weigh-in, and they're prob right. He had Pacquiao looking away and laughing with his crowd during the staredown. He on the other hand looks all biz.

Manny wont weigh in at too much more tommorow. Hatton will.

How many 24/7 episodes were there and how do you know which one is on at what time. Might just catch them on youtube.

Thoughts on the mayweather-beard situation and the training methods? Lee seems to be giving input where it is due?

We're at ep 3 of 4 in 24/7, last one is on a night early tonight in states, on twice on Sky sports tomoro evenin. Will be on youtube late late tonight/early tomorrow.

As for the weighin, Pacquiao was comfortably inside, but remember that he weighed in at 142lbs against DLH but was 148lbs on fight night. Hatton will not be that much bigger.

Hatton will be ~152lb tomorrow night. Pacman will only be ~ 146lb. There's the telling difference.

I dunno, just looking at them, they look a similar size. Hatton is not a huge light welter. Someone put up the stats at the start of the thread showing comparative measurements and Pacman was if anything slightly bigger.

I just don't think strength and size is as big a factor as some think. If Hatton is going to win it will be on workrate, but I don't see it happening.

Anyone know around what time will the fight be tonight?

Is there anyway to watch this fight online, or are those websites bogus? Also dosent anyone see this going like the Mayweather fight, Hatton has to get the big punches in and I think will wear him self out trying to get in Pacquiao will beat him in the later rounds.

Nah Pacquaio is a different animal to FMJ.

He'll come forward where Floyd sat back.

If Ricky is capable of landing big shots he'll do it tonight, because, unlike against Floyd, Pacquaio's come forward style will ensure he gets his chance...

Hope Hatton wins(I like the way that he still lives beside his parents in Manchester and i have a tenner on him to win)-I hate Freddie Roach with a passion, the man just annoys me...
Not sure who will win, I think Hatton has the advantage because natural weight..

Anyone know if theres any good fights for the undercard in Vegas??

Does anyone know if it is on Pay per View and what time is the bout starting at?

Sky as usual say that coverage starts at 10PM, but my ladbrokes says that it is Sunday 3rd of May, 2009 04:00

And that's if it starts on time. Gonna try find a stream online. I think it is really disingenuous the way Sky advertise these fights. They obviously know that if people knew the fight started at 4am, this would discourage people from buying. The expected start time of the fight should be at least put in small text on the promotional ads.

    HHEEEEEE'SSS BAAAAAAACCCKKK!!!!!

Well at least he is coming to 143 which for me is the lowest we could have expected. Its the lowest he has fought at since weighing 139 vs Gatti. I imagine 140 will be no problem for him next time out to take the linear lightweight title. I cant see Marquez coming in any bigger then he does at lightweight though.

    So discussion time:

How do you think Maruez deals with Mayweather at 143 considering his 135 performances??

I think most people with an ounce of cop-on would know that they're not gonna be fighting at 5pm local time. Have you never watched a fight in America live before?

For the record sky merely state that coverage starts at 10pm, which it does.

At the earliest, will prob be closer to 04:30... although with so many mismatches on the undercard it could well be a 3:30-4am start.

well to your accusation that I dont have "an ounce of cop-on", I actually do. The last fight I bought in was the Tyson-Holyfield ear biting fight and that was such a let down after waiting up half the night, I decided never to buy fights in again. So i know what time the fights start at. And whether I was familiar or not, doesnt make any difference regarding the point I was making.

And I never accused Sky of false advertising, if that is what you are insinuating. I said their advertising was disingenuous. If you dont understand what that means:
    http://www.thefreedictionary.com/disingenuous

It is not beyond the bounds of belief that a prospective buyer, who didnt know the fight was in the states, might assume (because of the time "coverage" starts") that the fight might be in the UK.

I have ordered it with NTL's digital service, but it's breaking up all over the place, I presume it's the box or signal. I am so ****ing sick of their incompetence. I have people coming over to watch the fight and it's extremely embarrassing showing them this ****. I also ordered 24Mbit from them, from Heanet I'm getting 1.5Mbit. I've half a mind to ring them up tomorrow morning and tell them to get all of their useless **** out of my house immediately. Really ****ing sick of them. I thought they had improved under UPC but it's the same old useless NTL. The engineer even left his signal tester in my house. He spent 10 minutes looking at it, surely he should have known if my signal was up to it or not.
