Kitchen-Sync !!NEW online radio channel!!

If anyone gets a chance I need somebody to log in with me I will broadcast music then get someone to log in and try broadcast.

I was thinking of cueing up recorded mixes on torq or some application and playing them over the weekend constantly.

However I want to make sure a user can come on and stop that broadcast and do theirs, it be nice then for them to do the same cue up a mix and leave it running.

From now on to avoid dead air I will be encouraging people to broadcast pre recorded mixes. You can cue them up on software and play them.

When a DJ then goes to login he will be asked if he wants to overide the existing broadcast. Select the option that lets you overide the broadcast but restart when finished.

Some new DJ's being lines up to fill the spaces over the coming week for your musical delictation.

I'll be running a soundcheck with well established Dublin based DJ Ger Conway from TONIK 107.1FM no less. Looking at filling one of the wednesday slots between 7 and 9pm.
Ger has a strong following around Dublin and I'm really looking forward to hearing his savage choon collection on a more regular basis, especially as i can't pick up TONIK out here in kildare .

Working on Visuals now if anyone is around to help out, just missed donkey there. I have that sort of working using ManyCam taking the video source from the desktop then running a visualization program to give the visuals, the visuals where highly pixalated at the start but have improved that. However I think you will need a fast connection to be able to run that in conjunction with the broadcast.

**From now on please Type who you are what time and what you will be playing in the update box at the top of the broadcast window and make sure you click the Twitter check box before clicking update.**

This will post whatever you say on our twitter page and automatically put a link to our station on the tweet. This is important because I am going to add a **** load of people on that twitter page when I get time in work.

I fixed the error that was annoying me for ages, Guests can now chat on the radio. When you are logged into the station as kitchen-sync simply type this into the chat

/mode #kitchen-sync -m

Unfortunately it resets once the chatroom becomes empty so you will need to type it in before every show to be safe. If it works you wont see it show up in the chatroom.

The problem is my connection is poxy so will have to turn off the broadcast when I want to use the internet.

Hi guys,

I use a PC so I'm a bit lost on this, a DJ is using Virtual DJ or Traktor on a MAC with uStream. We're not getting any sound. Any idea's what settings you need to use on a MAC so you can broadcast what you're playing?

Two more DJ's added E.P on Wednesdays 4-5pm doing a hardhouse set and Ger Conway doing a two hour set 7-9pm on Wednesdays.

Plus should have one or two more signed up by the end of the week.

Great to see all the progress getting new DJs workin on the station. Im gonna have to cut my slot from 2 to 1 hours. so i will now be playing from 9-10 on thursdays. that means the slot from 8-9 on thursdays is now free

Right, I use torq, with a macbook, just put the line in and the options that come up on ustream will get the rest when you go to live broadcast, ive had no problems so far....i think you just have 'allow access' on the options panel,hope this helps.

This week I've got a brand new track from vitalic, See the Sea; this is the first track that has been released from his forthcoming album, and its as great as you would imagine.
