    Hi Guys,

I have a serious problem. I changed my SSID from eircom******* to A1 connect and since I can't connect to it. and teh wep key does not work.

I can see the new "A1 Connect" but can't connect

I can't access http://192.168.1.254 anymore to change it back.

    Any suggestion.

It wont connect to the router if you're not first connected to A1connect. Is there a reset button on the router? If you can get connected try www.routerlogin.com

plug a cat5 cable into ur device and into the router, goto ur router config page then change the ssid or wep key then. :)

Open up the control panel for wireless networks. Look for the little box in the taskbar and right click it for getting there quickly.

Off the top of my head:
    • bring up the box to search for wireless networks
    • click Advanced in the blue pane at the side
    • delete the entry for your old 'eircomABCD EFGH' network
    • add the new entry for 'A1 connect' with the correct password and encryption type
    • save/OK out of it
