anyone else feel this? even looking at brian lenihan delivering the budget yesterday, with the other brian beside him there is a look of Resignation about them... like they know the game is up. and no matter what they do there basically just counting down the days.I know they haven't been positive about things recently but maybe by getting voted out at the next election we might actually be doing them a favour.

Yes but look at the crap they're going to do to us in the meantime before they go.

By the time they get ousted, the situation will be so much worse than it already is. This is the worst thing about people who think they are fit leaders, that often the last thing that occurs to them, is that they don't in fact have any leadership ability at all. This is what is happening here. People who end up in leadership and management positions in this country tend to have nothing driving them other than an inflated ego and an inflated sense of their "self". So this is what we have here and we'll all suffer the situation accordingly.

They have to fix the 90 billion euro for the developer friends by setting up the new debt agency before they go, so that the debts can be written off for the banks and the friends and the taxpayer take the hit, meaning that the state will lose out on new hospitals, schools, health care, infrastructure or whatever for a whole generation. No matter what Minister Lenihan says about these people being made to make good their debts. Its rubbish, as if these people have not got it or it is salted away abroad the state will never get the debts honoured.

They look incredibly unhealthy. Cowen and B. Lenihan don't look like they're in the best physical condition.

It's funny, Cowen and Gordan Brown look like a heart attack waiting to happen and Barrackus ma Obamadeaus looks like he could be a UFC champion!

Maybe their guilty consciences are keeping them awake at night - doubtful, but we can hope.

Fact is that I wouldn't put it past them to DELIBERATELY look that way, so that we vote them out and they don't have to clean up the mess they created.

I wouldn't wish PERSONAL evil on anyone - not even FF scum - but it WOULD be ironic if the 2 B's did actually have a heart attack and ended up on a trolly for 72 hours having been transferred 25 miles to the nearest "centre of excellence".....

They are unhealthy due to the fondness for alcohol.

That picture is far more offensive than the guerrilla portrait. Honestly he looks like the random 3rd cousin who made it to the wedding, got trashed and tried to pick up a minor. I've probably envoked the wrath of Eoghan Harris and Martin Mansergh with that comment...

What a man does in his private time is his own business, but that is a bit embarrassing admittedly.

We're only a heartbeat away from Mary Coughlan as Taoiseach. Cowan looks worn out and tired in a night-on-the-tiles sort of a way.....

If that happened I think even FF would throw the towel in.

Thanks for that. As if things couldn't get bad enough you had to bring up the nightmare scenario.
