    Go for a cycle.
    Go to the gym.
    Go play bowling.
    Golf.
    Pitch & Putt.
Go to the pub but don't drink - There's plenty of pubs with pool tables, dart boards, quizzes, bingo, karaoke, live music.
Casino & card rooms if you're into that kind of thing.
    Go for a nice walk.

This topic appears every now and again in some shape or form regularly.
Maybe it is time the moderators to create a sticky thread for things to do in the South East which doesn't involve booze.

Here's a few off the top of my head...............
    • Kilmeadon Vintage Train
    • Walk around JFK Park, New Ross
    • Bowling, Ardkeen
    • Dunmore East Adventure Center - learn to Sail or Kayak. I did the sailing with a few lads from work and we had great fun.
    • www.seapaddling.com - evening kayaking is the best during the summer. Mick the owner/instructor is dead sound and I guarantee you will love it. Look at the photos on the website. You dont need to swim, life jacket supplied and the only people who tip over at the messers. An instructor goes out with you all the time and shows you cool hidden places that you need a kayak to see.
    • Drive to the Hook - via the ferry at passage east.
    • Copper Coast Drive
    • Horse Riding
    • Paintballing
    • Go Karting - Kiltorcan Raceway Kart Circuit, 15 mins outside the city.
    • Cooking lessons - Phelim Byrne or Dunbrody House
    • Volunteer & make new friends by helping out at Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival
    • Volunteer & make new friends by helping out at Sproai
    • Learn to drive on Duncannon Beach.
    • Join Waterford Triathlon Club
    • Join Sportif if you are a beginner cyclist
    • Join Weightwatchers....no booze allowed as far as I know.
Read the local papers, normally a page dedicated to things to do i think in the Munster Express.

    BFG

Will have a map in the next few days of the South East Coastal Drive and Copper Coast Drive (curtosey of Discover Tramore!) along with a few other new material which may be of interest.

There are a few places with slot machines, poker machines and roulette wheels around waterford now. You dont neccecarily need to play big bets to enjoy them either

    As promissed..

    South East Coastal Drive
    Copper Coast Drive
    Dolmen Drive
    Tramore Beach Guide

Should keep people busy anyway. I love the SE Coastal Drive and Copper Coast Drive the most.

Isn't the Dunhill dolmen not called Knockeen Dolmen? If you cut to the right of it too there's the remains of a church in there too. Just look carefully:)

Sorry ignore that Just remembered the dunhill one is a completely different one sully!

They were checked before print if your referring to the Discover Tramore Dolmen Drive map so it should be accurate. Plus, im nearly sure the Dolmen one is marked officially when you get out there!

No it's right :) I was out lookin at the tower house there a while ago and I went to knockeen right after it to look at the church. I have confused myself :o

Great area to wander around and the View from the Tower house is second to none!
