Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I really hope if Liverpool have a new home shirt for 09-10 it doesn't follow the same template as the Bayern and Chelsea kits

Liverpool do not have a new home kit this season home kit is 2 years away 1 year

That black chevron thing is ridiculous looking no?

    *prays villa don't get one*

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,422 ✭✭✭Fenix

I think utd's will be one of those "up close its actually nice though" tops.

I quite like the Barca new 3rd, I'd have considered buying one if we didn't have to go and humble them in Rome.

    3samarretes.jpg

edit : just realised, the black one is the keeper top ;) Still nice though.

For those that complain jerseys are too plain and simple:

    Sierra Leone Kit.

Bohs and Shamrock pink jerseys from Umbro in aid of Action Breast Cancer
    . Limited editions.

(So far, whichever team has worn them has lost in the derby.)

Not so bad for a few games, but we'll be playing in pink for two whole seasons! We're due to get rid of this monstrosity next year.

Could people recommend a jersey to me?? i don't really want to start a new thread so this one will do... and i don't mind if it's 09-10 or older..

Just thinking of getting a one... from what i've seen in here the barce and milan jerseys look nice and the zenit jersey is excellent especially the white one

The Sierra Leone jersey is pretty cool too

So if you know of any good ones will you post a pic here please

Think I saw the new Chelsea one for €39 on a rack in Heaton's in Carrickmines during the week. I don't think I spat on them all. ;)Elvery's have a deal this weekend if you buy 2 items youe get 25% off one of them if that's any use to you.

Got an email from them yesterday. looked at them and thought they looked like the fakes you pick up in back street shops in the resorts around Barcelona- particularly the home one. Might wash my old orange away one a few times till it fades then it'll look like that new away one.

Not that anybody cares what next season's FC Köln jersey looks like, but I don't think I've ever seen a more disgusting jersey in my life.

    resource_7959.jpg

What were they smoking when they came up with that?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,084 ✭✭✭A7X

pretty much the same as boltons only different colours isn't it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,170 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

Yeah seems to be, hadn't seen Bolton's new shirt yet. They're both mank but I think it looks far worse in red + white than in white + black.

Reebok need to stop making jerseys. The idea of one template being used in different colours for numerous teams is bad enough, but when the template if f*cking horrible it's a complete disaster.

Think they played in these already. They're bloody rotten with a bit white oversized patch for the name and number.
Really wish I could still fit into my 93 Newcastle home shirt.:(
They were the best one ever (wiht McEwan's lager on it) ..only prob is the training jacket is blue and every fcukhead think's it's a Rangers' top and gives me abuse.

As for the 2009 home shirt..screw em..I'm off to buy the Zenit kit...damn they're definitely one of the nicest jersey's I've ever seen.

i actually really like that aswell. I think it's a similar template to what they use for Corinthians in Brazil, they both have the same clean look absent from so much of the crap these days...

There's actually something a bit creepy about that photo. Dunno why.

The one with the red/black diagonal stripe looks great.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

Looks like a 3rd kit in there as well?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

    9? Having a bit of a blonde moment? ;)

6 Jerseys Home - Blue, Away & 3rd (including the the GK jerseys) and the other 3 look like Tracksuit/Training tops

Yeah but it's still 9 new pieces of kit, a tad excessive.

    But we've changed kit supplier.

What are we meant to do? Bring out 3 new shirts then leave the rest of the Le Coq Sportif stuff in place?

Fair enough then, what's red and black got to do with City anyway?

It's a tribute to our 1976 shirt (we also had one back in 2003 for the final year at Maine Road) -

Black and red have always been associated with our away shirts.

reminds me of some Brazilian team's jersey. Is it some ploy for City's Brazilians, to make them feel more at home when they're down 1-0 at half time in November away to Bolton? :pac:

you're thinking of São Paulo's jersey, except their black and white stripe is horizontal.
