Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Having seen the koln jersey from earlier as well as bolton's upcoming and just-gone kits, I've become increasingly grateful that Liverpool ditched Reebok in 2006. Their recent efforts have been nothing short of abysmal

Not happy at all with the home one.

Fairly plain to be honest, especially the home. And I don't like the position of Etihad on the #3?

Black and red have always been associated with our away shirts.

    That's a cool shirt!

Looks like the club is called Ethiad with the name below the crest!

Not that anybody cares what next season's FC Köln jersey looks like, but I don't think I've ever seen a more disgusting jersey in my life.

    resource_7959.jpg

What were they smoking when they came up with that?

What were they smoking when they came up with the crest? It looks like the goat or whatever it is is trying to shag the badge!!!

Funny you say that as I live in Abu Dhabi and actually found out this morning from an Arabic dude that the english translation of the word 'Etihad' is 'UNITED' so City have United on the front of their jersey :P

That city one looks nice in the pick there. I'm a fan of the plain jerseys sometimes. The sponsor is a bit big on it though. Still, quite cool imo.

Edit: The Hammers away is cool too. Especially if the jocks and socks are going to be navy as well:cool:

    anybody buy jerseys off http://www.uksoccershop.com/

just want to know are they reliable etc

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,900 ✭✭✭Eire-Dearg

    Ever hear of www.jomzajung.com?

Over in Asia, probably set up by workers who try to make more money on the side.

About 30% are fake, but I was lucky and got a real Spain "David Villa 7" top for 18 quid.

Selections and sizes are **** though, but can't argue with the prices.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,149 ✭✭✭ironictoaster

I bought my United jersey from that site jomzajung. Likes the exact same as well the real thing. Got it in 2 weeks.

    Love the city jersey btw

all of them are fake, some off them are just better quality knock-off's than others. it's a gamble when ordering off them.

Yeah, some can argue whether they're really top quality fakes, or the real thing.

I've seen mentions (and pics) of total fakes from the sites, but a lot more success stories. A lot of Liverpool fans use that both because of their financial situation and beating the merchandise boycott at the same time.

well there all fake in the sense that these are unlicensed by the clubs. Some of them will be simply high quality knock-off's, some others could well be the night shift of the Nike/Adidas sweatshops, so they might be real in that sense.

But every stort I've seen on the place is that they are simply high quality fakes, and that you can tell with the size of the manufacturers labels and that kind of thing when looking up close.

Who's to know really, you'd get away with it. I hate folk who are incessant on wearing only the real thing, and splash out €60/€120 on the new kits every year or teo.

My inlaws are in Belarus at the moment and I've kindly been asked what i'd like as a pressie, so figure I'll get a Dynamo Minsk jersey or a Belarussian national shirt, but for the llife of me I can't find any pics online for any of them, let alone home/away etc.

I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction? Tyty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,900 ✭✭✭Eire-Dearg

Search Google Images for "Hleb Belarus" you get some of the kits being sported by the man himself.

EDIT: The white is the home and the blue is the away afaik.

sorry to go a bit off topic, but i notice Robbie Keane isnt in that Spurs kit pic..... that might not mean much but...maybe he is on his way to sunderland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,889 ✭✭✭Third_Echelon

reminds me of some Brazilian team's jersey. Is it some ploy for City's Brazilians, to make them feel more at home when they're down 1-0 at half time in November away to Bolton? :pac:

Vasco da Gama have a similar style shirt with the sash..

Ronaldo was in the United mock ups. So maybe not...

That mock up of Ronaldo wearing a new United jersey has being taken off www.footballshirtculture.com and likes requested by nike. It must be the real deal.

    Agreed, the trim ruins it.

I like it anyway, think it'll look pretty wll when it's actually more than just floating in a white space.

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,596 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

it's pretty nice, it looks more like grey stitching which probably won't be so obvious in real pics. is this a guess, or is there a link to a source?

it's just doing the rounds at the moment can't say it's definite just highly probable.

    South Africa comes to mind

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,900 ✭✭✭Eire-Dearg

    Ay caramba!

Bumblebee Man jokes aside, I think it's a class jersey. Better then the away one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,312 ✭✭✭✭citytillidie

If Liverpool are to have a white top they have to get rid of the Green Carlsberg logo it ruins the look.

Oh and Headshot i was speaking to a South African in work and them buzzing horns are a big thing there at football games he said to expet them too at next years World Cup

Looks waaaaaaaaaaay better with the red Carlsberg!

We've got gold Carlsberg, why not red too?

they have certain colours they want there name to be written in - red isn't one of them.

But I do think it's real - it's on the thread in rawk but I don't think it was made or anything there.

    middlesbrough-09-10-adidas-kits.jpg

Anyway wtf is with boro finally moving to a decent brand but only once they are relegated - spain style - looks pretty decent.
