I am looking for a backup phone for the weekends with a good camera and not too big with good battery life for preferably less that 200 euro.
I will probably buy second hand of ebay or something like that but would like some advice from users.
    The phones I am thinking off are;
    Sony Ericsson K770i
    Nokia N78
    Samsung U900 soul

On the upper end i am looking at
    Sony ericsson C905
    Samsung Pixon
    nokia N79
These are all probably over 200 so I would prefer not to go there

    Am I missing any ?
Any user experiences of the camera on these
I am familiar with the UI on s60 and SE but not samsung

    Get a SE K800i, you'll be very happy :)

This is what I came in to post!

It's a little bit of an older phone but for weekend use, it has a great camera, is easy to use and can take a decent amount of damage as well.

Only downside might be that it's a little on the chunky side

My wife has 1 and I hate the size of it. Screen is a little small which is putting me off the k770i a little.

    What about the tocco?

    +1

The K800i is a great handset and the best cameraphone I have owned.

Another +1 for the Sony Ericsson k800i here too :)

I have a k810i (it's the same except different style keypad and wasn't sold on Irish networks) and it's an excellent backup.

    Yup +1 for K800i.

Still have mine for when I'm heading out on the weekend and know there's going to be snaps taken.
I'm astounded that most of the newer smartphones can't replicate the quality of the K800i. Even night time snaps are fantastic with it.

N82 - great camera plus a much better video than the K800i. Will have change from 200 too.
