Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Question about internet explorer 8....

    I think (but could be wrong because im not a very techie about coding and stuff like that)

    Anyway ever since they upgraded me to explorer 8 last week in work i havent been able to get access to the offical iranian new service website.

    I do allot of "shopping around" for my news i like to get all sides because im an argumentive little ****er who thinks the western media should be forbidden from lableing sides and should report the news in a non biast fasion - but since everyone does it i get news from everywhere.

    Thing is i can still access it via firefox at home (or i did tuesday anyway)

    can someone on firefox tell me if the above link loads correctly in a non windows browser because the site loads but does not load correctly - no text is being displayed on explorer 8.

    Actually - i can load the spanish and french - why would they remove the english? - can someone try and load the link above - saved from my fav's and tell me if they can get into it please?

    I don't have IE8 so can't test it but did you try running the website in Compatibility View? (click the 'broken page' icon beside the refresh button)

    try http://www.presstv.com the URL is friendlier

    BUT since it's at work you have no control over their internet and if they are using a US based web content filter then it will be blocked because of the "axis of evil" and that other FUD.

    Check out http://english.cctv.com too, and you are free to use libraries and home internet.
