Banking transactions working normally?

Just wondering are banks and banking tranactions working as normal? I was using my online banking there and noticed my wages didn't go into my account. has this anything to do with it being a bank holiday weekend

Well if you're due to get paid today, the banking systems are offline because it's a bank holiday, so your wages may not go through until tuesday morning.

ya due to be paid today, thats grand anyway as long as it goes in tueday. thanks for the reply
