Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rooney is our best player atm and he's playing out of position

scholes besides the goal is poor and Carrick is even worse

hope ando comes on. If it means risking him for wed then i dont. Ando - Fletch midfield vs porto? Scholes - Carrick aren't performing atm

The thing about Rooney on the left is that he's so liable to create a goal - think Inter Milan. The lad is a superb player...

Yes without Rooney we would be in serious serious trouble.

Tbh, performance aside, if we play like we did in the 1st half and end up with a 0-2 win, i would be ****ing thrilled.

utd probably a wee bit fortunate to be in front.
sunderland afraid to get forward in numbers in case they get caught on the break.utds quality up front should see them through there is a couple of gears they can go up but what has happened to utds defenders of late looking very uncomposed

theres no doubt he can play on the left but he's a totally different animal when played in his right position

besides Ronaldo,Rooney is scoring the goals for us

thought United were best before they scored and since then have really collapsed. They have to go out in the second half with the attitude of if we attack we're more likely to score than cautiously protecting a 1-0 lead.

    yap

    bring him on I say

I really would take off Tevez and bring on Anderson and push Rooney up front, or bring on Macheda for like for like. He really isn't doing much up there.

However Anderson on for Scholes or Carrick would provide a bit of battle in the middle.

    Bench consists of:
    Kuszczak
    Evra
    Ronaldo
    Anderson
    Giggs
    Nani
    Marcheda

can see fergie was thinking of swapping forward player/midfielders unless he was forced to make a change. Gonna see giggs and ando (hopefully) in second half i'd say

Jones. No more than they deserve.

Did his best to miss it too, free header and toally messes it up only to have it land at his feet again. Horrible defending and finishing.

Evans is a joke of a defender

for the life of me I cant ever see him getting a 1st team slot

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,685 ✭✭✭Tom65

What on earth is going on? How can we be so bad, so suddenly? I'm utterly baffled by it.

On the basis of the game, Sunderland deserve the goal. But we should be playing there and not giving them a hope. Bring Ronaldo on and stick him up front.
