    But drink isnt included in the good friday fasting, its purely a legal thing. (As I sit here in Donegal with a cold 1664)

    Its only meat your supposed to fast from.

    Yes, got plenty of booze yesterday and I'm going to a party later. I'm determined to drink at least twice as much as I would on a usual Friday, same way that I smoke twice as many fags on No Smoking Day. Take THAT, clean living and good health!

    I might do. I might not. I have beer in the house in case I decide I want to.

    The fact that it is Good Friday will have absolutely no influence on my decision, it means only that I can't go out to drink.
