Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

just a bit of fun, mods feel to delete this if you want.

but lets list casinos, etc in carlow, no need to comment on quality, unless you really recommend it or really shouldnt be touched with a 50ft clown poll.

    Pubs:
    1.o'loughlins, dublin street
    2.leveretts & frys, dublin street.
    3.Scraggs alley, tullow street

    bookies.
    1. new paddy power, upper tullow street.
    2. ladbrokes, upper tullow street.
    3. paddy powers(i think), middle tullow street. beside whites pharmacy.

    Cainos.

    1. Old JC videos complex
    2. Over Road House.
    3. Charrlotte street.

Was gonna ask the same thing..

I agree with mod about discussion as there are plenty of threads for this. The Carlow forum is quite infomative and only ever has a bit of friendly banter / slagging going on.

By having discussion on intense subjects such as gambling / alcoholism, the forum would get too serious and lose its appeal for many.

    mod note :
if you read the businesses opening and closing threads in the last few posts you will notice that myself and aynon were getting headed enough with regards to casino's and betting with another boards member, and i asked to be treated as a normal poster in my forum for this particular topic because it is one i feel strongly about and am dead against so i support patricks decision of no discussion of this what so ever. That is what the gambling forum is for if you want to discuss it there. We are not restricting your conversation they just don't apply to this forum.

    Regards
    Dan

exactly, the carlow forum is for carlow issues, and gambling, alcolism etc is a specific thing, there are fora on boards where you can discuss these no problem.

bout a year ago it changed hands, to a pub/chinese, interesting mix, to say the least. but 3-4 months in they were found to be supplying alcohol without a license. closed, fine too big, and didnt reopen.

    Thundercats-Ho, What a post!!!
    Brilliant.

The only one that I can think of that you didn't mention is the rugby club, and the only reason I even know there's a bar there is cause I was at a 21st there ONCE.
