    I personally find that it it is too hard to decide what is the greatest movie of all time. Any suggestions? many people seem to suggest Shawshank Redemption or one of the original Star Wars. What are your views on what is the greatest movie?

    kinda of pointless trying to pick one film as everyone is different and one person's fav film will be hated by someone else. And how does one judge the best movie ever Most votes by people here? Best due to what - acting/writing/FX's/directing/box office/cultural impact/all of the above/none of the above?

    Yeah, the first two Terminator films were great. There are loads of old classics like 'Gone with the Wind'...I loved that, kind of tired of it now though. 'The Wizard of Oz'- brilliant..though I don't know if I love it just because it brings back great childhood memories of Christmas. It's hard to pick one, think maybe you should be able to judge how good a film is by the number of times you watched and enjoyed it.

    Whats your view on what is the greatest movie of all time?

    Pretty pointless thread when you dont name your own and give reasons why.

    Especially when you get answers from people like abouttobebanned that say I want to punch someone because they like X movie.
