    It's taken me a while to figure out the name of it but I had recognised the sound instantly. Anyway, I'm 99% sure that it's Ludwig Van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata:

    Really? I don't think it's that. I'll try a few more listens and see if I'm missing it.

    Saw it's used on RTE's ad for "The War" documentary. Maybe it's some local artist I don't know bout..

    I knew I recognised this song form somewhere.

    Its off Colm Mac Con Iomaire album The Hare's Corner. Its track number 5: Emer's Dream.

    He was on the latest series of Other Voices. The song is part of the session he did. LINK
