Giving up work to travel, somewhere/anywhere

I know I'm proberly lucky to have a full time job these days. I'm 25 and have a very stressful job with long hours. I feel that i'm missing out on life and was thinking of giving up work to go travelling. I dont know where yet. Did anyone else do this or any ideas or advice??
