Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Given how little Osman is doing defensively would the better option not be bring on Jacobsen for Osman and push Hibbert forward?

    I know he's still on a yellow but a lost less likely to have to be forced into a desperate tackle if he knows Jacobsen is behind him?

    Oh twas def a pen - kinda meant harsh in the sense that there was very little in the way of intent and the fact that if Lescott hadn't made an effort Petrov wasn't in the most dangerous area of the penalty area.

    Also I have a particular bugbear about frees being given for dangerous play whenever a foot is raised at all anywhere near a head. It's always an automatic foul even if the play itself wasn't dangerous.

    i agree.

    the intent wasn't there but it certainly stopped petrov from getting a sight of goal, so no choice for the referee. lescott did everything right, he just got unfortunate.

    young got away with a pull of a shirt, then the everton lads stupidly dove in. (i assume thats the incident you're referring to)

    Yup - massively disappointing borefest of a draw tbh ;)

    Delfonso looks like a player who needs to develop physically. Was physically overmatched a number of times by Everton defenders. Not surprising considering he is just 18. He looks about 5 years younger than Macheda physically.

    mon seems to play him in a deeper role than hes used to, its always baffled me a little. youre right he could do with bulking up, but hes deceptively big in real life
