Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey all, me and a big group of friends are going surfing next week. I've only really been doing gig photography and was wondering if any of you have some handy pointers for shooting waves, water and people in and around them. I'll have a board and load of stuff already so don't think I'll be bringing a tripod to do fancy…

Hey all, me and a big group of friends are going surfing next week. I've only really been doing gig photography and was wondering if any of you have some handy pointers for shooting waves, water and people in and around them.

I'll have a board and load of stuff already so don't think I'll be bringing a tripod to do fancy arty stuff. Just my D80, nifty fifty and kit lense. Though I could get filter or something before Friday if a lot people thought it was a good idea

On a side note, do you have any recommendations for getting nice natural shots for friend photos? It seems a lot more difficult than posed ones (or maybe the good ones I've seen are just "fake" natural shots)
