Buying DJ Software

Hey,

I'm looking to get Traktor Scratch Pro (with the audio 8 & cables) but hoping to beat the €599 price tag. I've found a copy for $450 plus shipping but am a bit dubious about the site. Any recommendations for a reliable site that will deliver reasonably soon (I'd pay a bit more for priority shipping)

Also would this be the kind of thing to get directly from Native Instruments for warranty sake and after sales service or would it really matter?

Finally does anyone know if Traktor Scratch pro is both PC and MAC compatible or is there two different types?

Torq Connective is very very good and significantly cheaper (about €250)

Personally I think Torq is nicer to use than Traktor, but it depends on your needs etc

Look at Serato as an alternative to Traktor too.

there is a new cheaper version of traktor out now, the main reason its cheaper is because the audio interface has 4 outs rather than 8, other than that its pratically the same

He means in relation to the PC/Mac compatability.

Yeah I wasn't sure if it was dual piped or not - hopefully it is cause the long term plan is to invest in a mac.

I've been looking at Torq too but I reckon Traktor is the way to go - it has more effects than serato and Torq seems less reliable and has less updates/ after sales service. Could be wrong but after months of deliberation Traktor wins!

Mainly just looking for the cheapest reliable site at the mo
