when ordering make sure you order in Meters.

ie 4.8 m is what some people call 16 feet. but 16 feet is 4.876m
(NASA made a mistake mixing imperial and metric)
when I was ordering the guy was talking in feet so I assumed it was sold in feet.
when it arrived I measured it just to be sure of my marking out but it was cut to 4.8M.

its fine when putting up a couple of lengths but when working out where to put posts etc it can get confusing.
I had 180M of fence to do .
Finished it yesterday after a year:D
total cost was €1500 including concrete, screws etc, and a lot of digging.

Thanks for that John and Cormywormy.

John, where did you get it and I thought I could just drive the posts in to the ground using a proper steak driver? Obvously you dug out holes and set the posts in cement, but does this have to be done??

Hope john doesnt mind me answering aswell. Unless you get a machine to drive the posts in deep, you will never get them tight and they will wobble a bit.You should get good long posts and put them in concrete. I put up posts for my veg garden and there at least 2 foot into the ground and they dont wobble at all.
