Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

and what's happened since he, and the rest of your team, has blown cold?

and who cares if nobody at villa has the touch and class of Young? that's not the argument. A bald fella in the blue of Manchester has that touch and class and has performed on a more consistent basis.

Ireland does not have close to the class of Ashley Young, and as invincibleirish has stated, its him that is walking away with that award, deservedly:D:D

To be fair we're 24 pages into the thread, what you suggest has been debated already. Now Ash has the award tucked under his arm and both he & Ireland i'm sure are looking forward to the future as they boogie on down tonight at the PFA disco. I think Ireland will get over it and probably win it next season (Ash not being eligible and all).

you're right, it has been debated.

but all I'm saying is that between this and the Giggs farce, I've lost all faith in these awards.

you obviously haven't watched Stephen Ireland this season then.

stats and overall performances prove Ireland has been a class above. but you just keep telling yourself different. Young has the award, and fair play to him. But for me, and I suspect the vast majority of unbiased football fans, there should have only been one winner.

I am a Villa fan but I think you have some kind of issue with Ireland. He's amazing.

No need for two threads tbh, and the discussion is overlapping. Given that the awards have been announced, I'm closing this nominations thread.
