    Hi all,
I'm a part-time mature student who fell behind in a JAVA introduction class due to childs illness. I was hoping someone would be able to suggest where I might best find someone to give me a few grinds to get going/catch up. I am based in Mullingar.
    Thanks.

Would you be open to self tuition?

I have experience teaching Java @ University, and find that many students can actually make a lot of headway themselves given the right resources. I can take a stab at what constitutes an introduction to the Java programming language, but if you provided me with a little info on your programming background (experience with programming in other languages or complete beginner, etc) and what it is you need to know (topics) I should be able to help you.

Are you attending a Java course/module?, do you have a list of topics? will there be an exam? if so, when?

Thanks VE, I should have included more info. The Java course is part of an online Mechatronics degree, there is a final exam but obviously due the online nature of the course there is a lot of continuos assesments to be completed.
I have no programming experience and I'm basically hoping to get as much of the assesments completed to allow me make some kind of an attempt at the summer exam (autumn exam probably more realistic).
Due to my tight time frame I was realy looking for someone who could be physically present, thanks very much for your response.
