    The say up to the end of March Lex for bareroot, but in saying that I am after planting Privet in the last 3 weeks and its taken spot on. So you MAY get away with it for another week, if it dries up though I think you may have issues.

    I also found bareroot hard to find at this time of year.

    it is best to plant any trees or hedging in the wet season so they get plenty of water
