Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

In the process of building a house and looking for red brick for the chimneys, i'm intending to build natural sandstone on the front and redbrick around the windows and doors. I know of Lagan brick and country manor. Does anyone have any ideas or a make of brick they have seen built with sandstone before. Any suppliers in the North East would be helpful.

    Thanks

Highly recommended is a brick called northumbria dark blend. You won't get a better brick looks wise.. Its an excellent brick with sandstone or quarts. I'm not sure of the company that makes it but I'd say if you googled it you'd get it.

you should also have a look at the Ibstock range of bricks. They have a weston red which is a ver nice brick. I have used it on a few projects and it has a very nice finish. They distribute through the Chadwicks providers.

    I have no connection.
