Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You should learn how to make GIF's... Hope you don't mind but I took the liberty

Thanks Tallon for the effort, but the colours looks more washed out than the original, it now looks overexposed.I do understand what you mean by GIF's

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 362 ✭✭joconnell

Try a png instead - it'll support a proper alpha channel. A GIF has a max palette of 256 colours and it'll wreck a photo.

First time I was scared by lightning - ran outside as soon as the storm sirens came on with my camera - one massive bolt hit about 60 metres in front of me (the sound was painful)...

I have been trying to get photos of tornados too but now am more aware of my personal safety - no photo is worth your life@

was down in Cork yesterday, spotted this character surrounded by TV cameras in the middle of UCC, talking about e-voting machines

    3470744468_dffa0003da_b.jpg

Interestingly, while he (or his official driver) drives a Toyota Prius, undoubtedly for it's supposedly green credentials, he left the car idling the whole time he was there, which kinda defeats the purpose...
Personally I can't wait for the next election and seeing this clown turfed out on his ear. Incineration plant within 1 miles of the Minister for the Environment's house...indeed

    Actually it’s a friend’s Minicher Pinscher.
My cat is bigger than this dog.
But it’s a vicious little thing; thinks it’s a Doberman.

The Jameson experience (Midleton): I had passed by this place many times, but (eventually) I called in late one evening and I must say that I am intrigued by the place, the main reason being that I was just talking to someone who was born in the Distillery, ie. the workers houses. I MUST call back again.
