Got my .22 license today

    The system works!

    Today I received my first firearms certificate, after a wait of about 8 weeks. I asked for a limit of 1000 rounds, and was given 600. They ignored my request for permission to use moderator, but the sergeant said if I write a separate letter for that there should be no problem.

    The fact that I plan to keep the rifle in a club locker instead of installing a safe didn't seem to cause any complications - I know there was a lot of discussion about that here a few months ago, so this should help clear it up!
