Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    good decision from riley imo.

How? The defender knocked welbecks legged together, thus knocking him over. he did so without getting the ball - it is a foul, and should have been a penalty. Good decision my hole.

After Moyes said that the other day an Everton player would have to repeatedly stamp on a United player in the box to get a peno

United have defended set pieces very well so far imo

I'll want to see it again. But to me it looked like he got a slight nudge in the back then made a meal of it.

Thought it was a penalty at first but after looking at it a second and third time i think he tripped himself up, started falling before jagielka made contact. Though if he considers that a foul on gibson just there then he probably should have given it. Happy he didn't though :D

Anderson should do that more often. He's a great runner with the ball but often does it in the wrong positions.

    Shot from Welbeck!

Have we actually made Howard make a save yet? Well, besides Gibson.

    Fellaini in trouble...

    Berbatov still warming up.
Mike Riley really hates the Afroman.

Fellaini needs a double arm amputation.

He'd be right.it wasnt a red. A flick of the hand in the mouth when he wasnt looking at the ball is a yellow at best. (even if ferdinand was holding his eye on the other side of hid face)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,430 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Riley is intimidated into giving a free there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,567 ✭✭✭delta_bravo

This is a fairly poor quality pitch, considering its only used about 10-15 times a year

    injustice if everton score here

lol at Lou Macari crying about Cahill making a meal out of the contact he made with Da Silva, but didn't see anything wrong with Rio going down holding the wrong side of his face after Fellaini's contact with him. Thanks for the laugh Lou!:D

Why is the pitch is such poor shape. It seems to cut up so much more than any other pitch I've seen. Is it because of concerts of something?

Fellaini not doing well he's made every effort to get sent off and Riley is stopping him time and time again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,678 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

    Ando playing great stuff

future is really bright for utd from what iv seen today and this season in general

For a team that started with only 4 players who you would consider first team, it's been a decent game and a decent performance overall. I'd like to see Nani and Berba come on for Gibson and Wellbeck..

Edit: DOH, forgot Evra had come for Fabio..In that case i'd like to see Nani come on for Wellbeck..but Fergies gone for Berba with Macheda coming off..

Whhy would Welbeck go down? He had controlled the ball and was just about to slot it into the net. He was fouled, you'd have to be particuarly absurd to not see that.

Macheda taken off, good to see Welbeck stay on, I think he's earnt it in the 2nd half performance, also Macheda was looking tired.

Anderson has been a titan in this game, it's just so fantastic to have him back.
