Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did the ITV commentator just say: "Come on, somebody!"
    Great bi-partizanship.

Oh my God. How was that a foul?!?!?!

Every time a player has hit the ground Riley has given a free, except for the most clear cut of them for the penalty

Should have had 2corners in 2mins there.

BTW the reaction from Fergie after the peno wasnt giving was gas, he was like Dustin doing the flap flaps.

The first one came off cahills calf.

Riley is trying to equalise I'd say. Know's he ****ed up, so he gives the 50-50s to United. Sign of an absolutely shocking ref.

You make a mistake and you move on, fine, but trying to even it out just shows no courage of convictions. Then again, maybe he's just a shocking ref who can't see anything.

This one seems the most likely today, neither set of fans can be happy with him.

Foster was a wee bit dodgy on some things, but since the 2nd half, he's really taken command of his area and I thought played well.

Then again, if it does go to penalties, its just 50-50, we'll see.

Thats it. Every time Riley refs a United game the other fans complain about his bias. Yet no United fan is happy seeing his name either. He is just crap.

    Who takes the first five?

    Berbatov
    Gibson
    Tevez
    Scholes
    Anderson

for me, but maybe not in that order.

Penalties fun time. Utter chance imo.

    I'd say we'll see

    Berbatov
    Tevez
    Welbeck
    Anderson
    Gibson

What way will the toss go, Fancy utd to win on peno's tbh.

Why is it always such a forgone conclusion when United are involved in a shootout?

I mean I can understand them outplaying teams because of the players they have but surely PK's should be some sort of leveller.

I would be astounded if United dont take this now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

I'd be quite shocked if Scholes took he, he rarely if ever does.

So what better way to end a dire match than a penalty shootout. Vidic and Rio have had a brilliant game so hopefully a sign of things to come for the remainder of the league and CL.

i hope Welbeck doesn't. Got a feeling he will miss if he does.

    ando
    tevez
    berba
    welbeck
