wow, boards has everything, even forum for audio editing.

I did a phone interview for my community radio show and recorded it on my MP3. The frustrating thing is, I've got extremely annoying crackle when the interviewee talks(not always, just at louder points). I've used audition only a little so I have tried hard limiting which doesnt solve the problem. There is no crackle without speech so I don't think I can use this as a sample for the 'noise reduction' feature.....of course I could be wrong.

Anyone understand what I'm talking about and able to offer some advice

    many thanks

    pab
